The Pollution Rap
The Environment is a very valuable treasure that we must appreciate and enjoy as long as we can. Unfortunately, we may not really know how important our environment is to us until we lose it or at least until it loses much of its beauty and efficiency.

And before this really happens, let us all raise our voices together and sing along, "Pollution, pollution will you go? We don't want you, No, No!!!"

My Grade Eight students of the academic year 2010-2011 had an English lesson about nature and how it is in danger because of pollution. Each student pretended to be the voice of the sea and said something that the sea would have said had it been able to talk.
Then the sentences made by the students were turned into a rap song which they sang and it was animated using "Skype" cartoons.

Hopefully, their voices are loud enough to reach the ears of every human with the slightest concern about nature and the environment.
This rap song is just a candle, isn't it better than cursing the dark?

The following video was designed as a Biology lesson to teach students of grade seven "The Feeding Habits of Animals," The original video was recorded from "The National Geographic" channel then it was edited and in-screen information was added.

After watching the video, students are asked to define the three different feeding habits of animals and give examples of their own.

N.B. part one of this video is much larger in size and hard to upload.

Some people believe that sciences and literature have a lot of contradictions and thus they are immiscible, just like water and oil. This challenge encouraged me to mix this water with this oil and this is what I came up with, is it a Griffin? Is it a sphinx? Or is it just ..... a scary cat-er-pillar?

    1. Miss Amal, thanks a lot for your evaluation of these videos. My students have access to this blog and have seen their work published and this really encouraged them and made them realize their potential and how capable they are and gave them a push towards further achievement.
Hopefully, there will be more of such works published on this blog.
